Estaport Nursery/Primary School was established in June 1987 by Hon Chief [Mrs.] A. M. Osomo as a neighbourhood school aimed at creating educational awareness and harmonizing the difficulties arising from tribal sentiments coupled with discrimination within the
neighbourhood.
The purpose includes providing nursery and primary education for children between the ages of two [2] to twelve [12] years.
The approval for the school, Estaport Nursery/Primary School, was by Private Education and Special Programmes Department Secretariat, Alausa, through Hon. Commissioner on the 23rd of October 1995 under the leadership of Mrs. C. O. Jaiyeola.
The school started with a Headmaster and Assistant directly responsible to the School Advisory Committee. Within the years, the staff population has increased to a total of eighteen [18] teaching staff [all qualified with university degrees] and fourteen [14] non teaching staff which comprises of cleaners, class assistants, security men and a gardener.
Activities/Amenities
Estaport Nursery/Primary School is fully equipped with
musical instruments ranging from piano, keyboards, flutes, recorders, drum sets, violins and local instruments.
A computer room/cyber cafe is located in the school with eight pentium IV 733 mmt computers with Internet facilities.
There are two science laboratories with equipment, which are easily accessible to children.
